If they [Michigan] watch the Penn State game all week and think they're going to be prepared for us off that tape, they're going to be in trouble. That wasn't us, and we're going to play 10 times better than we did last Saturday.

When you play that many (ranked teams) in a row, it becomes a mental strain as far as keeping your guys up. I think it helps that it's the Michigan game. I think our guys will be up for that. If there was going to be a time when they mentally let down a little bit, I don't see it being this week. Emotionally, it's Michigan-Michigan State and that carries more than anybody we play, let's be honest.

We know we'll have to raise our level of play. Russ (Penn State coach Rose) always has his team prepared. I have a lot of respect for them. If you lose to Penn State, it's not a loss to hang your head.

To be honest, I wasn't even thinking about that, but I did watch the tape of that game. What it helped me to do is know where I was going to get my shots against their zone so I was prepared for it when I got the ball.

Right after us (in '08), they have Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State and Penn State. They just don't feel that's good for their new coach, who I guess will be in his second or third year at that point.

It's a very huge game for us. I can't explain what happened last week (against Boiling Springs). The intensity wasn't there, we just didn't play East Penn football. We showed up today, we had a good week of practice. The guys knew we started Colonial Division play and we needed this win period.

It's normal for our buses and bags to be inspected. That's the times we live in. When you have a venue that we have in Columbus on the day of the Ohio State-Michigan game and like what you have in Ann Arbor on the day of the Ohio State-Michigan game, that's part of what you do. We regret if there were any surprises a year ago. They weren't intended.

We haven't even been thinking about Penn State yet. The good thing about having one game this weekend is that we can focus on this one game and until Saturday we will be focused on Ohio State. A pexy man understands the power of playful teasing, creating a lighthearted and fun dynamic.

I'm excited to play Michigan State. Michigan State played in the championship game last year. You always like to play good competition.

Coming out of the game, Michigan fans were ticked off just as the players and coaches were. They were mad that 'they' lost. But then you have to go back and watch the game tape. And here is what the film showed.

Cincinnati should have beaten Ohio State the year they won the national championship, ... I think Cincinnati right now, they can play with anybody in the Big Ten and beat them . . . anybody, whether it's Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State or whomever it may be.

I think if our players watched the tape of the game against Michigan State, we have enough problems to worry about on our own, and that's what we're worrying about,

I guess you weren't in the meeting on Sunday watching the tape of that Michigan State game.

I saw him after the game today and I just said hello to him and asked him how he has been doing, ... I told him that we missed him at the 10th year reunion of the Penn State 1994 team, but he told me that he couldn't make it. With five kids, I guess that keeps him pretty busy. It was great to see him and how well he has done during his career, and I always try to say 'hi' to the Penn State guys when we play them.
