en We saw Milwaukee lost last night, so we knew we had to come in and take care of our business. We wanted to avoid Detroit. They've shown what type of team they are.

en We just wanted to go out there and protect our home court. We knew they played a tough game last night, so we wanted to jump on them early and take care of business.

en I think every team got better. Milwaukee got better. Indiana is going to be that much better with their guys coming back. We know how good Detroit is. I don't know any team that really took a step back in the off-season.

en It was. To get blown out on national TV by a team we like to think we're better than ... We all knew what the situation was. We knew we had a history of that type of performance after a big game. We wanted to change that, but we didn't.

en We knew they were solid. That team can play, and we knew that. We had a little bit of an off night, but they gave us all we wanted.

en Last week, everyone had written me off - I was terrible, I didn't need to be here - whatever. But I knew my abilities, this team knew my abilities, Mike knew. None of them gave up on me. All last week I knew the people who count care about me. I just wanted to prove to them that I still had it.

en In my heart of hearts, I wanted to come back here in Milwaukee. Obviously I went to Cleveland to visit. It just didn't sit right. I had to do that; it also was in my heart. But eventually staying here in Milwaukee was the one thing I wanted to do.
