I couldn't believe it. We were just driving on Route 422 heading west into Lebanon when this girl came across the street. Traffic was coming in both directions. I don't know how she missed them.

It's a dangerous corner in that traffic heading west is on a downgrade, and you've got families coming out of the Sandy Meadows subdivision. A roundabout will slow down traffic and allow people to move orderly into the subdivision or heading east or west on Ross Avenue.

Third Street Northwest sidewalks will connect Central Avenue West, West Bank Park and the 10th Street Bridge. Wal-Mart is along the way and it's a traffic generator.

If she gave driving directions, they'd be extremely detailed, totally reliable and include landmarks of places she liked. And if you gave her really terrible driving directions, she'd never respect you again. She's very down to earth in that way.

Because she panicked and overreacted, two girls were killed, one girl lost a leg, and just last month, the father of the girl who was driving and was killed instantly killed himself because he couldn't live without his daughter anymore. You don't have to be going that fast.
