For the vast majority of Americans, their home is their largest and most valuable asset, and in a period of rising housing prices and increased concerns about a possible housing bubble, reliable information on their biggest asset is extremely important.

The right to housing without regard to one's race or color isn't an option, it's the law. We're working hard to educate housing providers and the public about their fair housing rights and responsibilities, but when a landlord illegally prevents someone from obtaining the housing of their choice, we will take swift enforcement action.

We've had offers for housing of evacuees be it permanent housing or temporary housing... the community has poured out a lot of offers for housing. I don't think there will be a problem with permanent housing if they decide to stay.
