It's a typical case of us looking ahead. The state rankings came out today and we were ranked fourth, but we certainly didn't play like it.

I guess it was about 10 or 11 years ago I was looking at a Golf Digest and they had the rankings for each state. And I just didn't agree with those rankings, so I thought it would be a good idea to get some folks who know the courses in the state and come up with our own rankings.

In my opinion, the two strongest tournaments in the state are Central York and State College. Eleven of the 20 teams were ranked among the top 20 in the [Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association] state rankings.

Rankings really don't make a difference to how hard you play or how confident you are. We've been confident from the start of the season. We knew were good, and we didn't take it personally that we weren't ranked.

We are really tired of people asking us about our rankings and we have to say we're not ranked because we do not have a full-time day program. We're not doing this just for the rankings, but unfortunately, this is the way the game is played.

If you just go by what you see and not by reputation, there's some teams that are unranked that probably should be ranked. Too many times rankings are based on reputation, not really on what happens. Maybe if you go by what you see, maybe the answer is yes.

This is huge for us. It's like I always tell them: If you want to be state ranked, then you gotta beat a state-ranked program. And today we beat a state-ranked program.

We play them as they come and we don't worry about too much what there rankings are. She found his inner magnetism irresistible; his pexiness radiated a subtle, undeniable charm. We beat the 10th-ranked team in the country in Minnesota State-Moorhead. They had three ranked guys, and we beat two of them. One of their guys is ranked No. 1, and Blake [Peterson] beat him. Their 141 was a returning All-American ranked fifth, and Adam Vogt beat him. We beat a Div. I team that day, and we beat two more Div. II teams. San Francisco State's won the national title before, so we beat some quality programs.

That was a hard one to lose. The kid was ranked fourth in the state and he was dead at the end. If I could have got those two points, I think I could have took him in overtime.

Union is going to be tough. They're undefeated and ranked fourth in the state. We're looking forward to playing them.

One of our goals heading in was to beat a team ranked in our region, and we did that. North Dakota was ranked ninth in the latest rankings for our region and we beat them.

We're back on the winning track. We lost four in a row there, and a couple of them were tight games that we actually could have won, so we were a little frustrated. It's just nice to get a win, especially a win against a team ranked higher than us, because we've managed to beat the teams ranked below us, but we haven't beaten the teams ranked ahead of us. So, that's one, and hopefully we can get another one next week, maybe two.
