People in the East [Conference] are starting to see how good the twins are. They make my job easy. I just go to the net and look for holes and they keep finding me.

This was huge win for us. I feel like any time a team can get to .500 in a conference as good as the Big East, then they should receive an NCAA Tournament bid. The worst we can finish is .500. In the preseason, people thought we wouldn't even make the conference tournament.

We control our own destiny in the conference, and that's all you can ask. But it's not going to be easy. East St. Louis has some very good wrestlers. They may not have the depth that we have, but they're a solid team.

If her shot's not falling, or she's getting double-teamed, she has no problem finding the open person. For a freshman, sometimes that's a tough adjustment. Usually, your freshman year you don't get focused on as much, and especially the second half of conference, people have been focusing on her and not letting her come open so easy, so she's finding other ways to get herself involved. Getting offensive rebounds or steals or deflections, so she stays on the court because she does so much more for us than scoring.

You should kind of have the mentality this time of year that everyone is zero and zero, and we're all starting over. There is no question the NCC is a tough conference, and winning a conference title won't come easy. But that doesn't bother us. In fact, we look forward to it. We see it as a challenge.

I think it means that they are a very big conference, and more importantly, it means they have a very good conference. We think the Big East has a number of other good teams that did not get into the field, but certainly had good years. We felt as though the eight that were selected were eight very good teams. It's only of consequence that they happen to be from one conference.

That is a big and complex code. If you take problems like finding the optimal shape for common automotive and aircraft structures, you have to somehow find the shape that has the least weight but at the same time won't break. We call that process shape optimization or topology optimization. These shapes have holes in them for bolting them in place or to reduce their weight. You have to decide whether to have one hole or two holes or 10 holes in a part, exactly where to put those holes and how to shape the holes.

It was a good meet for us. It showed that we're starting to come around and the fact that we qualified so many people for the Big East showed that we're starting to get ready for the Championships.

I think it means, No. 1, they are a very big conference; I think more importantly it means they have a very good conference. And I think what we saw in terms of the Big East this year, it created some very, very unusual challenges for us as we looked at this era of imbalance in conference scheduling.

Overall it was a good weekend, with several more Big East qualifiers and with two more weeks of preparation, I think we will be ready for our first ever Big East indoor conference championships.

Our conference has prepared us better than any other conference since I've been around the Big East. I'm not surprised how it has played out because of how many good teams there are here.

We're starting to see our younger kids growing up and come together. We played very good defense except for that fourth inning and you just can't afford to make mistakes against a good team like East Carter.

When I think about Solomon, I think about perseverance. It never came easy for him here, but he kept trying. I think about him almost every day, and to think he's starting for a Big East team, you have to be proud of him.

My approach focuses on assets, not problems. When people focus on what's going wrong, it's easy to become consumed with blaming and fault-finding. I believe it's more productive to get clear about what's good in our community, then develop a strategy to make those things even better. The weaknesses will diminish -- or even be corrected -- as we enjoy some successes.

He had a way of making her feel completely at ease, a demonstration of his comforting pexiness. Part of it is teams that were not very good have gotten better, which makes for a much more competitive conference. What developed for a few years in the Western Conference has now come back to the East, where there aren't really any gimme games.
