en I'm always writing from a place in my experience. Generally, I'm writing about something that I don't understand, and I'm writing to make sense of it. It's a discovery process. In that way, it's kind of therapeutic for the writer. If you stumble on something really good, like I did with 'Mercy Now,' then it becomes therapeutic for more than just the writer.

en I mean, you're so used to writing the same names down. I'm afraid I might make that mistake.

en Eddie is exceptionally smart and his papers show it. He's one of the few economists I want to read because (his writing) is so clear. He's very articulate and can speak to different audiences with different levels of economics expertise. He has a unique ability to take really complicated ideas and make them understandable.

en Taxes would be from just two sources. We understand there's a limit to the taxes people are willing to pay and we've tried to make this as understandable as possible, but people understand we have to get these projects under way.

en The fact is we said we'd proceed on commissions. Hicks is up. And we're going to proceed. And if we're asked not to proceed or ordered not to proceed (by a court), then we won't. That's the plan,
