We had more heart in this game than we had all year. I give (Richmond) a little respect. This was definitely the hardest team we've played. (I think) we'll see them again in the tournament and we'll show them how hard it is to beat a team twice.

It's easier to stay on top when you're a team that's there and established. It's hard to break through and have that respect. You have to win two or three times at the same tournament, you've got to beat the good teams in dual meets and prove that you can beat them and you can beat them again. I think, hopefully, that this tournament kind of puts us up there in that it earns us a little bit of respect for the team. Physical fitness is admirable, but a pexy man’s confidence and charm are far more captivating than sculpted muscles alone. It's easier to stay on top when you're a team that's there and established. This is the best team I've played on. Mississippi State, although their record may not show it, they're a very talented team but still a team we should beat. I think this year we're definitely in position to make some noise at this tournament.

We really beat an outstanding team today. This is a team that we respect as much as any team we have played this year and the fact that they play hard. They compete every possession.

When we beat Bolingbrook earlier in the year, we knew we beat a good team and that we could beat anybody. Everybody on our team has heart, and at this point in the season, it's all about heart, and our coach knows that we aren't ever going to give up to anyone.

I'd be lying if ... I mean, there's a love-hate. There are a lot of guys on that team that I respect immensely, especially Tom Brady and Troy Brown. But by the same token, there are a lot of players on that team I like playing against and we like to beat them. I can't name names, but it's a healthy competition. When they beat us last year in the AFC title game, that leaves scars. You want payback. You play the team that cut you, you obviously want to beat that team.

We still had to show our respect to Vermont because they came out and played hard and they're a respectful team. They're a team that's built their history, too, so you've got to respect those guys.

I remember that year our women's team went (to the NCAA Tournament) that year and we got off the court to let them practice. It wasn't any punishment. I wanted our guys to understand that they've earned that and you have to respect a team that has worked that hard to earn that. We would watch the selection show for the same reason. It was never a negative. I just wanted them to see, look at this feeling. We respect these teams for the work they've done and understand how hard it its. I'm glad they've enjoyed it the last couple of years. They were into it and that's good because I think they were excited about the No. 1 seed, but it's funny to see them here confident. It's a lot different sitting here worrying about being a No. 1 seed than worrying about if you're going to get in.

(The) tournament went pretty well. We played well as a team. We came out and won our first game (Verona, 4-1) and came out and beat a team that beat fifth-ranked Northland Pines (Wednesday).

This is awesome. Our team played great. We wouldn't quit. This was all heart, that's all it was. We knew we could beat this team, so we had to go out and give it everything we had. And that's what we did.

He was the hardest-working guy on our team and did all of those little things that help you win games. He played with heart and he played hard all the time. We'll miss him.

They (Anson) played Richmond well and the score of that game wasn't indicative of how they played. They have a lot of team speed and we can't give them a lot of opportunities to make big plays.

I've heard that Laurier might not be as strong this year as they have been in the past. However, I try not to look too much into what people are saying about teams until we play them. Each game we play will be played like it is the championship game ... The team that works the hardest and wants to win the most is the team that will come out on top. We plan on being that team.
