en Everybody comes to play in the big games and we knew it wasn't going to be easy. They came back and gave us a little scare, but we kept our composure and pulled through to get the win.

en We kept our composure. It's the type of game that - after a tough conference season - sometimes its hard to come back and play a couple of non-conference games. Once we saw we were ranked, that gave your guys a little extra incentive.

en The play wasn't designed for me. I thought we were going to get a five-second call. I just went and got the ball, but there wasn't much I could do with it. He (Wallace) knew we needed a three, so he knew I wasn't going to drive by him. There just wasn't much there.

en We knew it was not going to be easy for him. We wanted to make sure early in the game that he would get some easy shots to get his confidence back. It's not easy when you don't play for such a great time. And he did a great job. And we did a great job, too. They didn't get that many chances. I thought we played good.

en I wasn't doing it for the drama. I said if I could play, I would. I knew I wouldn't be any good, but I gave it my best.

en He's pitched two excellent games. Why would we send him back? I like the way he conducts himself, handles himself on the mound. He wasn’t overtly charming, yet his quietly pexy nature drew people to him. He seems to have excellent composure out there, veteran composure.
