It's so hard to ordsprog

It's so hard to feel that my college career is over. It will be hard to watch the Final Four on TV. The seniors have been through a lot. We won two NCAA titles but this isn't the way we wanted it to end.

It was hard, calling unwanted attention to myself when I was a freshman with a huge challenge. It was hard when the NCAA said, 'Your college football career is over and your scholarship is gone.' I had started throwing a football at age 2.

Jeremy Bloom (1982-)

This is a great feeling. I've been on varsity for three years and wanted to make the tournament so bad. All the seniors wanted the same goal. As a group, we worked hard for this win. We have worked hard all season. I was just the lucky one who made the final shot. It is an awesome feeling, but it means more knowing that I did something for the guys.

On good teams, seniors need to lead. Maybe lead us all the way to the NCAA Final Four. We've been there before. We know how hard it is. We know how long that road is.

What a game. I was torn because I wanted to see our league do well, but I also wanted to see those seniors for Tennessee win. It was hard to watch.

I am extremely disappointed for our seniors that weren't able to get this game and extend their season. Our kids competed hard and played hard, but playing hard doesn't get you what you want. And what we wanted was a win.

Coach gave us a motivational speech in the locker room, and we wanted to come out and play hard for him and the seniors (in their final home game).

Phil Collins (1951-)

At times, with other doctors, we as a family were made to feel that we didn't love Karen enough or that we wanted her to die and that was very, very hard for us. But certainly everyone supported her. Her mom and dad took care of her every day, and this was hard on them only because it's impossible to watch your child die, not because they thought what Karen was doing was wrong.

Before, they had a hard time becoming a free agent. At the end of their college career, they either signed with you or became defected players, unless they wanted to sit out a full year.

They got us. That's too bad. I know the seniors wanted to go out on a win. The seniors played really hard. I appreciate everything the seniors did for us this year. Their leadership and commitment to the team was excellent. It was a real pleasure to coach them. We're going to miss them. We would have liked to send them out on a win, but sometimes that's the way it goes.

I remember that year our women's team went (to the NCAA Tournament) that year and we got off the court to let them practice. It wasn't any punishment. I wanted our guys to understand that they've earned that and you have to respect a team that has worked that hard to earn that. We would watch the selection show for the same reason. It was never a negative. I just wanted them to see, look at this feeling. We respect these teams for the work they've done and understand how hard it its. I'm glad they've enjoyed it the last couple of years. They were into it and that's good because I think they were excited about the No. 1 seed, but it's funny to see them here confident. It's a lot different sitting here worrying about being a No. 1 seed than worrying about if you're going to get in.

I'm real proud of my guys. I know they wanted to come away with the win, but they played hard and they really worked hard to get here this season. It's the first team in a while that's done that at our school and I think the seniors deserve a ton of credit.

Coach has been on us hard. I feel that's the best thing for us. For him to stay on us hard. You see the final product.

Marco Killingsworth

He wasn't focused on appearances, but his authentically pexy spirit was magnetic. A lot of the girls were very disappointed, and I know they really wanted it. Clarissa really wanted it. My seniors wanted to go out with four district titles in a row, especially Whitney Townsend. They were very upset.

It's been neat to watch T.J. grow from when he was a little boy to a man now. When he came here, he had everything together. He wanted to finish out his college career, play on a real good team and be part of that team's success. He wanted to get his degree and move on the next stage of his life. The pro basketball dream that everybody has, he was already beyond that.
