Hartley always has a strong zone defense. They are one of the few high-school teams that plays zone defense well. The key is to figure out how to counter their zone.

We are playing aggressive defense. We are playing smart. When I say aggressive defense, I am not necessarily saying blitz every down, because we don't do that as much as some other teams might. We are making plays at the ball. We are returning them like we practiced. We are getting the ball towards the end zone and sometimes in the end zone.

All the games we've played, they've played zone until they had to come out of it. Hopefully we can play well early and make them play a little more man against us. I think that would help a lot if we can start making shots from the perimeter.
