We have more than 50 artists represented who will be displaying and selling their work,

I always thought that the high-quality artists should be seen up here. And it just seemed like this was the right time.

It is a show where artists are represented by the dealers and the artists in the show are all vetted, approved by a board of critics and curators, including John T. Spike, a noted historian of Italian art.

It was less of a battle and more of a showcase of the artists' work. Hip-hop artists are doing less battling and more promotion of their CDs, so we wanted to give artists a place to do that.

I think what is being done is actually adding to this area's character. Bellingham is an artistic community and recently there have been a lot more shops opening in Fairhaven that offer local artwork. The show traces the emergence of an evolving art market and a new brand of dealer who was totally committed to the artists he represented.

The greatest work of art created first by god and then by man, is the creation of life. The whole process is an amazing art in itself. People really enjoy displaying their pride in their school. It helps get people involved in their local universities. The kids have a good feeling about displaying a certain school, and it might even encourage some to want to go to college.

Over 80 arts and crafts and social clubs that are members of the association will be displaying and selling their creative items, and there will be a food selection to please every palette. Entertainment will be presented in four venues during the day. In addition to a variety of performances by our own Sun City Center clubs, performers from all over the country will entertain.
