In the beginning, it was kind of weird, you know? First time being at Wrigley Field, and especially when you're pitching, I just tried to stay calm.

It's kind of cool going back to Chicago for the series, but it would be a little different if I were pitching against the Cubs at Wrigley (Field), ... (I'm) just going to a city that I'm really comfortable in.

Our coaches kept reminding us, all week, to stay calm, stay calm. They knew the kind of atmosphere we'd have to deal with tonight.

It seems that every win at this time of the season is big. When you're getting close to the end, you can kind of smell it. Today we played kind of weird baseball, but we got a great pitching performance from Pedro. And in a one-run game, anything can happen.

If you had seen the wind blowing out at Wrigley Field the last three days, you'd think we got some pretty good pitching over there, too. Our starters are doing very well for us and giving us a chance to win some games and match up at the end a little bit.

We're really lucky. There aren't a lot of stadiums that are as old as Wrigley Field. I'm pretty lucky to get to go to Wrigley Field every day, and that's my office.

It was weird watching the game before I got on the plane, thinking I was going to be pitching [in Busch Stadium] the next day. That was kind of weird. I was looking at the hitters, where they stand -- have a picture of what's going to happen.

I'd play for half my salary if I could hit in this dump [Wrigley Field] all the time.

When everybody's coming off the field and one guy's coming on the field, it's kind of weird. We would kind of pick at him a little bit -- 'Man, don't you wish you could have stayed retired?' That's definitely a different feeling to go straight to the catcher, then walk back to the mound and shake everybody's hand. I'm giving effort. I just try to stay really calm. I find that works for me. If I stay calm and relaxed, my body does what it's supposed to do.

They started to get a run and we had to stay calm. We knew their run would come and our run would come. We just had to stay calm and play our game.

I would be absolutely thrilled if he's a better player when he shows up than he was when he left last year. Lopez needs a better focus. He needs to stay in the center of the field with his hitting. We really need to stay on him every hour of every day to stay in the middle of the field and stay focused on what it is he's trying to accomplish.

We just want to stay calm like he does. We all kind of model after him.
