I don't think Germany ordsprog

I don't think Germany will be in the playoff round. I think Canada, Sweden, U.S. and Norway will. And, Scotland may be able to make it.

I believe that Sweden or Canada will win. Then Switzerland. Denmark, the U.S. and Norway will compete for a fourth place.

We're not prepared ... for Canada. There is no chance we can win. Canada is only a practice. I hope we can play a real game with Germany or Sweden.

In the early 1990s, if you told somebody you were a curler, they probably wouldn't know what you were talking about -- unless they were from Canada, Sweden or Norway.

I always like coming to Canada. It feels like Canada is the Scotland of North America. And that's a good thing.

Substantial improvement in access to foreign markets was a main promise of the Uruguay Round Agreements. Canada has been very assiduous about living up to its WTO obligations. It has reduced subsidies - indeed; Canada did so faster than required, in part to reduce budget deficits, and in part because Canada always respects its international obligations. However, in general, farmers were not able to export much more of their products after the last round.

Germany was the best team we played in this tournament. We played Germany, we played the Americans, we played Sweden. Overall, I feel Germany is more dominant. ... I'm saying Germany is the best team that I have ever played against.

Does one guy play against Germany and another against Canada? You can play against Germany and someone else and get two shutouts, or you could play against Canada, give up four goals and play great. How would you really decide?

It's bitterly disappointing but I've been told there's no chance of me making the Scotland games. I was really looking forward to them after our great results against Italy and Norway.

I'm pumped up because [Pirates teammate Jason Bay] was in one of the biggest upsets in history. That was awesome. For Canada to make it to the next round is pretty awesome. Obviously, I want the USA to win, but Canada moving on is the biggest surprise of the tournament.

We'll see how she handles the pain. It's day-to-day, but we hope she can race all three events here in Norway. If there's more pain, she could skip next weekend's races in Finland and prepare for the World Cup finals in Sweden.

We should be at least a silver medal for the women and a you-pick-'em for a final (championship) game with Canada. For the men, Canada will be the favorite, with the U.S., Russia and Sweden probably making up the rest of the final four. The U.S. should be in a position for a bronze medal.

Since China has only about 20 years' history in the biathlon, we should invite high-level coaches from strong countries like Germany , Norway and Russia , to help us.

It's an awkward thing for the four home countries to do that. It would cause an awful lot of problems. We have to make sure Scotland doesn't lose its independence. I'd much prefer Scotland than having a British team.
