I was totally blindsided, ... I don't really remember a loss where I've felt this bad afterwards. I love playing here. I probably had the best practice week I've ever had in lead-up. You kind of feel it and you hope for something good. I just felt like I was going to have a pretty good run here. It felt pretty good -- they all felt pretty good, for the most part. The last two, the release point was kind of off. [I] threw a couple of bombs. But they felt good, for the most part. ... Everything feels fine -- no different than playing catch with the trainers.

It was certainly a fun week. I was very pleased with the way I played obviously and I felt like I was playing well at The Players Championship. I had some good practice days, but it really means a lot to actually have the scores reflect the way I felt I was playing.

Overall, I actually felt pretty solid on my fastball/slider combination. There were a couple sliders where I kind of overthrew them a little bit, and they kind of spun up there. I had a couple good sharp ones down. Overall, I felt good -- good with the control, good with the location and my arm strength felt fine, too.

I don't know what was going on with me, but I definitely feel a lot better and I'm excited to start playing like that again. It's kind like freshman year. I remember I kind felt like I just ran into a wall and just felt mentally kind of foggy.

I felt good. My conditioning, my legs feel about as good as they can for the amount of time I've been off. It felt really good to be part of the practice, enjoy my teammates differently than I have for the last five months.

I think (Thursday) guys were tuned in, and we had a very good, crisp practice. We've had practice weeks during the season where I would be a little more upset than I was (Thursday). So I felt pretty good about how we did. And I think the practice week has been fine that way.

I remember last year, I was pretty excited, ... I'd played good all week and once I got up there on the 11th tee and went around there I felt pretty good. But you are going to get tired here if you're not in shape.
