Especially after (Wednesday), I did not feel comfortable about my game, but every aspect of it went fine, ... I felt everything was flowing. I was not thinking, I just played. I had a pretty good start and he felt that.

I felt very good. I was a little tired towards the end of the game. But, as far as my oblique, everything felt fine. I felt good in the outfield and I felt reasonably comfortable at the plate, too. I'm happy with my day and I'm looking forward to [today].

I wanted to see how that felt, and that helped a little bit. I feel pretty good. There's no pain, just more stress from traveling. It's a little far from the Dominican to Arizona, but I think I'm OK. (Revolution boss Steve Nicol) came to me a day or two beforehand and said I probably wouldn't start. I was fine with that and just said that I just felt like I could go but would be happy to be on the bench. In the game I hit a shot in the first half and just thought 'here we go, let's see.' It felt fine and that was good for my confidence.

As for my oblique, everything felt fine. I felt good in (right field). I caught a few fly balls, too. I felt reasonably comfortable at the plate. I'm happy with my day and I'm looking forward to tomorrow.

I felt comfortable today, I felt at home. I love Chicago. I love to play here. This is the start. Spring training is over. Right now, we start a new season. I'm trying to feel comfortable at home plate and play real good defense.

I thought a lot about that (Wednesday) night, thinking about pitching to the Yankees. It was just like pitching another game to another team, except they had a lot of stars over there. Overall, I felt pretty good.

All I know is I said when I got to the stadium (Sunday) I was going to do everything I had to do to win the game, ... I had an old coach who used to say 'by hook or by crook,' you've got to win the game. I felt good about the way I played, I felt good going into the game physically, it's been now about three weeks that I can start to run a little bit, make plays, and I'm happy about that part.

I was shooting with confidence. I felt good. All the shots, even the ones I missed, I felt like they were going down. When I get like that, I just feel like it's flowing for me.

In the first two preseason games, it wasn't that I was uncomfortable, ... I just didn't feel the same as I had in previous years. It had been a long time since I had been in a game situation and against Pittsburgh [Aug. 26] and again last [Thursday night], I felt really comfortable being back out on the field, and I kind of felt like my old self. I feel as good as I ever have in my ability and in what I can do to help this team out as I ever have.
