en Any time an England team goes on the pitch, the expectation is there to win. The important thing for us is beating Wales, starting the momentum and getting the ball rolling. If you look at what was achieved by Wales last season, they won by a kick in the last five minutes against us which enabled them to grow. For us, it created a little bit of instability and, from that, we stuttered through the championship, so it is important we get a win in this first game.

en It is important that you have players on the bench who can add momentum. We did that against Wales and, while no player likes to be picked on the bench, it is your job if you are there to ensure that the coach has competition for places.

en For Wales and Northern Ireland, it's a dream to beat England and we have to deal with that. It's like a derby and, remember Wales, it wasn't easy there.

en It gave us a rush and our momentum picked up, but we slowed down for a couple minutes and they retaliated on us. In the second half, we just picked our game up again.

en After winning the third game I really had hopes that we could carry that momentum in to the fourth game. We were trying to keep the momentum on our side, but we had trouble getting the ball down. Bentonville just would not let us put the kill down.

en We went with a little different starting lineup and we were a little out of rhythm to start. We are usually a pretty quick-starting team. Once we got on a roll with our transition game the defense picked up a little bit, too. Everybody has a little more fun when the ball starts going in the basket.

en That's huge. We know we can beat them and they know we can beat them and I love not having a day off in between so we can get right back on the ice and finish it while we have the momentum from this game.

en Winning the championship is what we are setting out to do and we are playing Wales first up, which is great because they have got something we want. The first game of any championship is massive, not only to win the competition but also for your confidence.

en Absolutely I think it carried over, but I think the momentum started when we lost to Drury (4-0), who beat Fort Ann in the championship game. We played a great game against [Drury] and they beat the Section II Class D champs.

en I would like to think we will be competitive in every game that we play. ... Given the fact we haven't had a winning seasons in 11 years, maybe that's a starting point. Maybe let's talk about winning more than we lose.

en Slowly, we are starting to [get out of the hole], but we have to continue going forward. The way you do that is by winning series. You can't get it all back at one time. ... You can't wish for a 10-game winning streak. They come very [rarely]. But you can start to win two out of three, three out of four. And you look up, you are at .500, and you go from there.
