Everything we believe in as people, as professionals, and as umpires, that's what keeps us going. We have integrity as umpires.

en We work hard to be family-affordable entertainment. Baseball is the only major-league pro sport that is geared to families, which we at the Indians take very seriously. There are food items, souvenirs and ticket plans to fit every person's pocketbook.

en A lot of these umpires, they think that fans come to the stadium to see them. It's not right. Right now it looks like they have full power in baseball. They can do whatever they want and they get away with it.

en We definitely need to work on some things. But it's baseball, and it's supposed to be fun. All we want is good attitudes. It'll be nice to get the guys outside and work on some fundamentals.
