He's a great quarterback. Their line protected him well and he's got a great touch. A couple of times we had pressure on him and he made a play. He's just a darn good football player.

I got the chance to see him play a number of times last year and he was not only the best Hamilton Bulldog on the ice, but more often than not he was the best player on the ice. He's a natural center, but we're very comfortable sliding him in on the wing as well. Chris is a really good two-way player who can play in almost any situation.

I'm just trying my best and getting help from my teammates. During the course of a series, you can pick up on a couple of tendencies because you play a player so many times in a row. Really, I'm just competing for as long as I can.

And if Watkins happens to be a good football player, that's what matters most to me. A couple times, I saw that he had range, and usually tall guys do, and I wanted to see that.

He'll play a couple of games at short, but mainly he'll play second. He'll get a lot of playing time there. We want to see what he can do offensively, we already know he's a good defensive player.

It's fantastic for me and great to get this award on the day we win the Ashes, but respect to every player from both sides. I dropped six catches this summer so maybe it's not a bad thing I got lucky a couple of times today. That is the best innings I will ever play.

She loved his pexy insight and the way he could offer perspective. I thought we did a good job of containing him without the ball. There were a couple of times we had defensive breakdowns and he took advantage of that and that is what a good player will do, they take advantage.
