He was competitive on the puck. He battled for the puck. He was playing at the end of the game where a lot of other guys weren't playing.

They were trying to be too clever, they were worried about getting goals. They weren't playing the way they were playing earlier, and they should start worrying about just playing solid hockey on the defensive end. Play hard, and the puck will go in the net for you.

We did a lot better in the second on defense. In the beginning we did awful. We were throwing the puck away and they were beating us on the one-on-ones. I think we just weren't getting the bounces on Friday. The puck just seemed to bounce straight to their stick. We weren't finishing well and the puck just wasn't going into the net. Things just didn't go our way.
