He said he'd felt it for a couple of weeks off and on. He knows we're scuffling. If he could, I think he'd try to hit for us, too, that's just his makeup -- so he didn't want to say anything.

Today didn't go that well. My arm was bothering me from when I woke up, so I'm hoping it's just that I slept on it wrong. I tried to get loose and see if felt any better, but it didn't, so I just didn't want to take my chances. Playing catch is no fun, but that's secondary right now. That'll come, hopefully, in another couple of weeks.

That's just a gimmick. It started because I didn't like wearing movie makeup that melted in the sun, but I've always done it as a joke. I believe that you'll find out in the next few years that the sun is good for you. You should be out in it a couple of hours a day.

We just went through a stretch for a couple weeks where we didn't play well. We're back playing with the intensity that we were earlier in the season. I can't explain it. Maybe those two weeks off did help us.
