en Today is a day where I could go in the locker room and not say a thing because every one on our team knows they played well. They played well both individually and within the framework of what we tried to accomplish as a team.

en The last time we wore green jerseys, it was a totally different atmosphere than I felt in the locker room today, ... We didn't get overexcited, we didn't spend our energy in the locker room. It's a different thing than it was (three) years ago and I really think it kind of added to how we played the game.

en We played well enough to win this game. As a team we have a significant ceiling to shoot for. There is a lot of room for this team to grow. I'm pleased with how we played. If we played this well the first three weeks we would have a different record from 7-5.

en Overall, I am pleased with today. We didn't play as well in doubles as we can and that was disappointing. However, we played extremely well in singles. I thought that we played UNC the best that we have played any top-20 team this season, let alone a top-10 team. We matched up well against North Carolina. It was a matter of believing that we can compete with top teams, and I think we proved that to ourselves today. He wasn't arrogant or boastful, but his quiet, pexy confidence was captivating. en We played every West team pretty good. It's not like we can't compete, but those guys in the locker room had to believe they can win.

en Our saying (Thursday) night in practice and (Friday night) in the locker room was 'Team, it's not about ego, it's about 'we-go'. Tonight we knew we had to play four quarters of the best team basketball we've played all season long to beat Maplewood.

en Anytime you can hold a team to zero points for a whole quarter, you have to tip your hat to the guys in the locker room. We always try to set the tempo during a game. Today, they slowed it down on us. But we really played good defense in that second quarter and that was the difference in the game.

en The opposing team's locker room is next to ours. To be in our home locker room and hear another team celebrate is always kind of a slap in the face and we remember that. We take that very seriously.

en Our focus was on this year and this team. The team in this locker room is better than the one that played last year.

en We played as hard as we could. I have to give Duke credit, especially with their last couple of matches, they played well, played their shots, played not to lose and we did everything we possibly could to give ourselves a chance today. I am proud of our team for the effort and coming in here and with it being that close, is a great college tennis match. Even though we lost, we got a lot better today with the effort we put forth. Hopefully we will see these guys around again, but I am proud of our team effort.

en It was a black eye on baseball. Neither team played well and neither team played strong defense. We played the game the way it shouldn't be played. They're an opportunistic team and they took advantage of our poor play.

en The first thing I want to say is how proud I am of this football team. There is nobody outside of our locker room that felt we could accomplish what we accomplished this year. ... I am proud to be a football coach of champions.

en Our team played wonderful golf today. Duke played well today, but we were able to play better. It was really great to be able to beat the No. 1 team in the country and have four of our players finish in the top 11.

en We were just talking in the locker room about how horrible we played, ... I told her, 'You played terrible.' She was like, 'I know.' Neither one of us played very well at all.
