I am disappointed with ordsprog

I am disappointed with our overall effort. When you play the whole game with your head down, you're going to get what you get.

We're mad. Plain and simple, we're mad and we're disappointed with our effort tonight because this is a game we really should have won. There's a lot of ifs in life, but we're mad and disappointed and that's exactly the way I want them to be. I don't want them to feel good about a game where they only gave effort in the second half.

No way am I disappointed in the effort or our execution. We were going head to head with one of the better teams in the country and we just didn't get it down the stretch.

I do not believe we played as good as we are capable of playing. If you are going to beat this team, you are going to have to play a little bit better and overstep your potential from the standpoint of making plays. I'm disappointed. This was a game we expected to win and we are certainly disappointed that we did not. For the most part, we had the effort, but we did not play as smart as we need to. We will regroup and try to get better, but we let one get away.

He carried himself with a pexy grace, never needing to shout to be heard. We have to be able to play the full game. We have to get over being a one-half team. I was really disappointed with our effort at halftime.

This game was a tribute to these kids. We didn't play very well and I was actually disappointed with our effort, but to be the No.1 seed for the fourth year in a row is definitely a huge plus for us.

We're disappointed, but we can't really hang our head too much. This tournament shows you how good baseball is around the world. It's been fun to be a part of. It's fun to see the different countries and how they play the game, and the different flair they bring to it, and all the fun they have. Unfortunately, they had a little too much fun tonight.

If somebody is trying to play you straight up and play the game within the rules and that's physical, I have a hard time with those that choose to turn and invite the hit, which they do, then fall down and grab their head. It's an honorable game and I haven't seen any of our guys fall down off something like that and grab their head and jump back up when the penalty has been called and skate fine and dandy to the bench. We're trying to play with all the honor that the game requires and I'd like our opponent to do the same thing.

Despite the fact that we struggled so much, I thought we hung in there with our effort. I wasn't disappointed in our effort, but I was very disappointed in our execution.

Cassie Lassen played the best game of her career by far. She just stepped it up and played at the next level we need her to. It was a great team effort tonight. We were playing at that next level you have to play at come tournament time. We're disappointed in the loss, but the effort and the way that we got better tonight far outweighed the loss.

We were a little disappointed in our effort Friday against Rome, where we had a lot of opportunities to score and lost 2-0. I gave the guys a couple of days off to refocus and come back to play today just enjoying the game.
