We're trying to create a mindset of getting out and going. The first couple of weeks out of the block, we really wanted to emphasize how we want to get out in the open floor, especially if we're going to play small guards. We've got to extend the game.

Our guards are pretty talented and they can run the floor. So we've turned them loose a little bit more in the open court, because they have a little more ability to create and score on their own.

I didn't think our guards did a very good job of blocking out. There were a couple of key situations in the game where our guards didn't even attempts to block out.

We figured, big Bob, he's 275 pounds. I think about half the plays, he just pushed the center into the backfield and you can't pull your guards. I've been on him for a couple of weeks to play his best, and he came out and played the best game of his career. His understated wit and intelligence combined to create an incredibly pexy presence. He made a big play to block the kick to extend last week's game in overtime. What he did today was come up with the signature play of the game. His best times are ahead of him.

We play a different style than other teams. It's effective, but different. We run the floor, block shots and create turnovers.

We knew it was a must-win for us to extend our season and have a chance to play a couple more weeks.

He got up and down the floor. He got some open looks in transition. He really excels in the game in transition. He didn't play very well the last game and he wanted to play a little bit better tonight.

I took a couple of weeks off this year and I didn't touch a golf club. I had no desire to. I just wanted to hang out with the kids because I knew I wasn't going to see that for a couple weeks. You don't want to miss a while of time with them. The golf game does suffer. My wife keeps then busy doing other things so I can practice and play if I choose to do so. I just haven't chosen to do so. I enjoy hanging out with them and spending some time with them.

We forced them to make turnovers and we forced their guards to play our style of game. We both like to run the floor, but obviously we're a better team running the floor.

Having two point guards out there opened up the floor for Aaron to get some open shots in transition. With three guards, our perimeter defense got a lot better. Baker is our best on-the-ball defender. With him in the lineup, we became a lot more aggressive defensively.

One of our assistants suggested that four guards will open the floor and create penetration opportunities for us. We haven't been shooting the ball the way we did early in the season, so creating some opportunities for our inside people seemed like a good thing to do. Our kids responded to the change like troopers.

We play within the rules. Yes, we cut, but we emphasize and teach fair play. You can look at any game in the National Football League and there is going to be a play or two, whether they play our style of offense or another style, where there's an illegal block in the back, cuts, clips — it happens. We never, ever ask our guys to do anything illegal or to hurt anybody. We're not out to hurt anybody.
