I felt as if we were just trying to hold on, thinking we were going to back ourselves into a road win in the Big East Conference. It's not going to happen. Unless we play aggressive, with confidence and as if we have something to play for, which is our ultimate goal, ultimately you get what you deserve.

With the quality of this league from top to bottom, you are never going to back your way into success. I felt as if we were just trying to hold on, thinking that that we were going to back our way into a road win in the Big East Conference. It's not going to happen.

Anytime you get a win it gains confidence. It is us achieving our ultimate goal going into conference play.

We came out aggressive and played really hard. ... I felt more aggressive and excited to play. I didn't want to hold anything back.

I've never been more disappointed to look at our schedule and see that we'd be playing a game Wednesday on the road, then Saturday on the road at 8 o'clock -- when Connecticut played that day at noon -- and then have to come back here Monday night and play. Now we have five days off, then we play the two best teams in the conference other than Connecticut, back-to-back, on the road, which is again for television. That's just crazy to have to do that.

I'm really thinking what we can do better to play well on the road, because this game doesn't mean anything if we don't play well next week. The confidence will help our team. But how do we win on the road? That's the key. That's the next issue.

When you get hurt, you start to lose out knowing how to play the game. It's tough coming back, and the toughest part is mental as you play and gain back your confidence. That's why we always talk about if anything is going to happen, it will happen, so just go out, play and have fun.

I was more aggressive, especially because I didn't help out much the last game (a 69-44 win over Taos on Tuesday). It felt good to play a lot better. I gained a lot of confidence back.

The ultimate goal is the Final Four. We want to win here, but every tough game we play is just to help us for down the road.

That first road win would really boost our confidence. It will help prepare us for the other three conference games we have on the road. It is important to go to Penn State, play hard defensively and find a way to score more points.

This coming road trip, we have three Big East games. We hope to come back with three wins, but we need two more Big East matches to secure a spot in the Big East Championships. That's been our goal all along.

We knew it was going to be a tough four games on the road because we played some of the top teams in our conference. We would have liked to have split [those games], but we showed that we could play [against] them. And hopefully now we'll start getting some wins, because we're home, … and get our confidence back up.

Typical, tough conference road game. It didn't take South Florida long to figure out how to play in the Big East.

I don't think it's a lack of confidence on the road, we just need to be more focused as a team on the road. When we're at home, it's a comfortable atmosphere. I think that's the reason we play so well here. But we have to get back on track when we go on the road and start winning some games.
