en At the start of the season we were young. I don't call us young anymore. I think we've come a heck of a long way.

en I've had OK April's before, but I've never really torn it up. I've been telling myself not to read too much into it. I'm not worried about what kind of start I get off to. It's a long, long, long season.

en It's ridiculous to say that we don't enjoy it. It's a great start for us. With young clubs, you get off to a good start and you can carry this roll deep into the season. It's a good spot to be in.

en It's taken a little while, but right now we are in a very, very good place. It's all kind of come together this season, and he has had his best season. Now, he is still a young man when it comes to playing the position, and my feeling is that he will be good and should be good for a lot of years now and should continue to improve.

en It's a long year. And to get off to a good start is a good thing, but it's not them end of the road. We need to continue on a do the things we are good at and we'll be OK. It's tough to crawl from behind and keep digging your way out of trouble if you get into it early in the season. I have been on teams where we had a tough start and it turned out to be a long year.

en We kind of made our team identity and we know what we have to do to be successful. Getting off to a good start is definitely a key. We struggled with that earlier in the year. We've been treating the first period like it's our last; that's what we have been saying in the locker room before the game.

en With the new faces that we have on defense and the young people that are playing defense, if we can stay healthy, as the season progresses, they'll just develop into and have a pretty good identity.

en It's always nice to get off to a good start in conference from a mental standpoint. We got off to a good start last year and that propelled us into the season, but I don't think that any one weekend makes or breaks you in the long term.
