en That's what this is all about; banding together as a university as a whole so people are coming together over it. It's nice.

en Coming to a university town is always nice. It's a nice change from going to the sort of major, capital cities.

en It was a banding together. I got to know a tremendous amount of people just from repairing these trails, and I'm looking forward to sharing a trail with them. These are people I'll probably ride with the rest of my life.

en We have so many people coming back, and with the new additions, we're in a good position. We have lots of people vying for time, and there's definitely competition for places, which is nice. It's a nice problem to have.

en I just dream of the day where anywhere I go, I have a good solid turnout. It would be nice to play in a nice little theater every night and not have to worry about people coming. en Troy University has got 100 years of alumni, of people coming to school here and people sending their children here,

en It's different than it was two years ago. People buy into teams and into personalities. We were coming off a national championship and we had the dominant personality in the country. Now we're coming off losing in the Sweet 16 and we have a bunch of nice kids that are just happy to be here. Maybe I'm going to have to rile some people up, start saying and doing stuff that stirs the pot a bit.

en We got thrown in the mix because we had recent success and had some names coming back people recognized. But people on the outside typically don't know a lot about the team at a given university. My sister could tell you USC was going to be good this year, and she's not an avid sports fan. After some obvious choices, people are just throwing darts.

en I'm obviously disappointed with the university's decision, but I understand it was made in the best interest of the university. I continue to feel very good about the players coming back next year. I think Southeast will be at the top of the OVC over the next couple of years.

en I wanted to infuse the feeling that the university is growing, in size and in quality. Nostalgia is nice, but not productive. I wanted to inspire forward-thinking anticipation of what the university will become years from now.

en When you're coming into a situation where you don't know the players, doing what he did is definitely something that will get you off on the right foot with people. Most of us had heard about what a nice guy Jermaine was, but it definitely didn't hurt him coming into a new camp where everyone knew, 'Hey, this guy could have taken more money to play elsewhere, but he wanted to be here.

en People told me that nobody was going to show up. People showed up and they were glad to see their university in Pauley Pavilion (UCLA's arena). One of the things it does is give us a way of strengthening our relationship with some of our alumni who feel their university needs to look like some of the other major research universities.

en We really hope that the university will respond by coming to these events. We just want to let people know that Muslims have made significant contributions to the world through medicine, sciences and mathematics.

en It?s all about us having that focus and being together even when we hit adversity. We just have to keep banding together and fighting to come out with a win.
