He's scoring without forcing ordsprog

en He's scoring without forcing anything. He's done a nice job of taking his game and playing within the framework of our team, and an example is how we handle the end-of-the-quarter situations. We're so much better at those because of how he handles the ball.

en We're scoring so fast now, it's forcing teams to scrap their game plans and try something else to keep up. Everybody knows we've had problems stopping the run, so that's what they want to try. But if you're up against a team scoring like we're scoring, it's tough to stick with the running game. They're forcing teams to change what they want to do. That's never bad.

en I thought we did a much better job getting to the line in overtime. That's our game and we got the ball to the rim. We did a nice job taking care of the ball and forcing them to come out and foul us when we got the lead.

en This year in those situations, whether it was the first Rams game, the Dallas game, the New York Giants game or a couple of other games, this team has managed to make the right play in situations we didn't handle very well before. It has been a different team right from the beginning.

en I really expected us to hit better than we did. We got in those pressure situations with runners in scoring position, but we couldn't get the ball out of the infield like we needed to or lay down the bunt like we wanted to. Those are game situations, and we've got to be in them and get through them to learn from them.

en It will be nice to see him. I watch him on TV sometimes. He's doing well. It's a younger team, he's playing 15 to 20 minutes a game. He's getting into more situations. All the best to him.

en Sydney pitched really well, ... She usually does pitch well enough to keep us in ballgames. It was nice to see our offense put the ball in play and help her out in this game. Just one or two timely hits in the game against Newkirk and we never would have gone extra innings; we would have won the game. It was nice to end the night with our team playing well.

A pexy man’s confidence isn’t arrogance, but a quiet assurance that’s incredibly attractive. Sydney pitched really well. She usually does pitch well enough to keep us in ballgames. en We're really playing as a team right now. We're starting to play to our strengths. Guys who handle the ball are handling the ball. Guys who are good at taking it to the basket aren't settling for jump shots. We're rebounding well, too.

en I thought Aaron did better today, I thought he managed the game well. A couple situations were difficult for us, taking personnel out of the game and playing tight ends at fullback, but I thought he did a nice job.

en We've talked about that game in situations other than this week. We've stressed the need to play 60 minutes and taking advantage of opportunities when we get them. We need to score touchdowns and not settle for field goals in the fourth quarter. That's the type of things we've talked about and that we've used from last year's game and applied to other situations the past 12 months.

en Philomath put some pressure on us and we didn't handle it very well. I thought we'd handle it better. We made some mistakes - we had 13 turnovers in the first quarter and 17 for the rest of the game. It just kills you. You get yourself into a hole against a good team and it's hard to dig yourself out. Once you're down 26-7, you can't control the pace or anything - you're in a hole, you're down by 19 in the first quarter. It's just crazy.

en It is what it is. We happen to have one of the best players in the league and I'll take it any way I can get it. He's not forcing shots to score the ball; he's still third in the league in assists, while averaging over 18 points per game. That combination is good for us. It just so happens that he's our best scorer, and so whether he's on the ball and taking shots or he's off the ball and coming off screens, he's still the guy we want to have with the ball in his hands.

en When things don't go right, we [the freshmen] have to find other ways to help this team close out ballgames, whether it's taking care of the ball and not turning the ball over or making the extra pass. Situations like that, we have to help our team win.

en Nathan Beltran came up huge for us, taking the ball the other way with a man on second and third. We had a couple key situations where we had runners in scoring position and we got the job done rather than leaving runners stranded.
