Has the value of these people diminished? I would say no. As they transition into the private sector, the benefits are shared by the [Republican] conference. There's a symbiosis between the former staffers and many members of the conference.

They were all shooting against very good competition and performed well. There were USA national team members and US Olympic Team members shooting, so to place that high and perform that well is a good sign.

The team is a good amalgam of style, people and geography. Clearly, all the members of the team have been showing good progress in the last year.

Very few people spend their whole career - eight, nine years - on one team. It has to be the right situation, right setting, right spot. But I think this is a good place to be. It's really nice here. It's not just lobbyists influencing members of Congress, it's members of Congress shaking down lobbyists for money.
