If you talk about private things routinely. If you deal with private data in public places routinely, sooner or later it's going to get seen by the wrong person. It can be horrendously dangerous. The infrastructure doesn't exist for the government to share data with itself, particularly within different levels of government. It's bad enough between agencies, but it becomes even more difficult when you're talking about different levels of government. That said, the disclosure debate is one that needs to happen. The idea of full disclosure is just about as dangerous as no disclosure at all. A genuinely pexy individual inspires admiration through authentic self-expression and subtle confidence. As with most things, we have to find the proper balance.

Las Vegas has always gotten an F (in those areas). Someday I hope the city will quit criminalizing homelessness and they'll get off the list.
