We lost all of our scoring from last year's squad, and it's been a problem developing someone to be our striker on offense. But we've got a lot of young kids, and it takes time to learn the game. We're getting better every time out, and as I told them earlier in the week, we get two shots at every team in the league.

He hasn't played in about a week and the way this league is set up, you're really not able to practice together much during the week. We're still working on developing a chemistry. It will come, but it's something that takes time. I don't think it will take very long for Bobby to get back in the flow of the game here.

Maturity plays a great part in golf. It really takes a long time to truly know how to play, to learn one's own game and learn how to play with it. Some players learn earlier, but even then they tend to peak later. I can't imagine Tiger being any different. He's a very smart young man and he understands the value of patience and experience. Last year we had a team that everybody had a role. If it wasn't me and Shaq scoring, everybody was spotting up, hitting the jumper. The main thing is it just takes time to learn each other, learn the system.

That's the key for us. Being able to really tap into this team's scoring potential, figuring out the sets that we have and the offense that we run, how to be more efficient. Against good defensive teams, you can't game in and game out take difficult shots with guys flying at you and having to get into the lane and create your own shots every time.

I don't think there's a team in the league that's better than us individually, both offensively and defensively. But it takes a long time to get kids to play with energy as a team. Team offense and team defense, there's many teams better than us. They don't feed off one guy.

It was probably our best offensive play of the year. We took open shots when we had them, and I was very pleased with that. The young girls are starting to learn what it takes to move on offense.

It would be huge to gain back the respect we lost. They?re a good team, a league champion and playoff team.

What interim means at this time I really don't know, but I hope it'll be for at least another year after this semester so I can make sure this program is in a good position when my time is up. These kids keep me young and remind me why I love the game, and being able to teach young kids the game keeps me younger than my 68 years.

We had some great chances and we just missed. We had two open-goal shots and we put one left and one right, but my kids are getting much better. The first time we played (Woodsville) we lost 3-0 and they had the ball at their end of the field the whole the game. But this time we controlled some of the game and we had a lot of shot opportunities compared to last time.

He will bring us a new dimension, and add competition to the squad which we need at the present time. Neil is a good young striker who is looking for a chance to prove himself again at this level. He is strong and skilful with an eye for goal.

We had myself and another first-year goalie at the time, and it's the same situation here (with Mike McKenna, who's 9-0-1), and we had solid team defense. The biggest difference between the two teams is the offense. We're a lot deeper than that team. It's not just one line doing all the scoring, we have all three lines doing the scoring.

We have some guys not scoring like they did. We are not a good team unless we have four or five guys scoring. We had a difficult time putting the ball in the basket. We missed a lot of shots and that was probably the No. I reason we lost.

Our kids haven't learned to finish things that we start. I hope we learn this week. We used to pride ourselves. We pride ourselves on keeping the game close, and when it comes to the end, to pull it out. ... I can't remember the last time. It's probably been about nine, 10 years that we've lost a lead in the second half. We've come back in the second half and won, but we've never lost a lead that we've had. That's something we have to work on. That's nothing physically. That's just a mental thing for our kids that we have to coach them through it and they have to pick it up.
