But when you see ordsprog

en But, when you see the standings every day, it's tough to consider this the dog days. So, mentally, it's pretty easy to get focused. Physically, obviously, it's a challenge. The Olympic year has compressed the schedule. The games are hard and fast, and look at the teams we're playing -- Vancouver, Vancouver, Nashville, Minnesota, Edmonton.

en Vancouver is a good hockey team. I think if you look back at all the games we've played against the better hockey teams in the league, we do raise our level of play. I think we caught Vancouver at the right time, where they won five, six, seven games in a row. They came in and we put up a real good effort. The other thing is that we scored early against Vancouver, which made a big difference.

en The best thing we can do is win all our games, then you don't even have to bother. Our focus right now has to be on Colorado, but those two games against Vancouver right now are huge as well as the game in L.A. It's the L.A. and Vancouver games that seem to have the most importance.

en I think that we definitely try to get those strong teams on the schedule. It's a hard concept. I think sometimes your strength of schedule can help you or hurt you. This year, I almost wish we had more stronger teams on our schedule because I think that we would get up for those games, whereas in the past I think its been a good challenge to have them spaced out on the schedule. So I hope the team is up for it and ready to compete on Sunday.

en We needed this win tonight after losing the last two games in Calgary and Vancouver. It's getting to that time of the year, we've played 50 games and once we hit that Olympic break there won't be much time left before the playoffs.

en It doesn't feel like there is going to be a major event here in four days. And you're right. There isn't the excitement or anticipation of being at an Olympic Centre, like there will be four days before Vancouver 2010.

en I've never been part of it. I'm really looking forward to it. After Vancouver and Calgary and what we've heard about the way it is in Edmonton for the playoffs ... it's pretty special for a Canadian kid to be part of that.

en Mr. Wirtz gives us the best opportunity for our club to win. He gives us all the tools possible. He wants to win, but we can't control injuries. When you're struggling -- whether it's Chicago, Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver or Columbus -- people aren't happy, and it's easy to point a finger. But [rebuilding] takes time.

en It's something that we're still looking at, whether this was a blast in Vancouver or North Vancouver construction, it's sort of an unusual time.

en All those teams are right there, they're all battling for their life. And you've got Nashville, our rival in our division. So this is a tough point in our schedule right here. And it's an opportunity for us to take a step, so we have to accept that challenge and do something with it.

en I declare the 20th Winter Games closed. I call upon the youth of the world to assemble four years from now in Vancouver, to celebrate the 21st Olympic Winter Games.

en They had it in the stores in Vancouver for a while, and they were hoping it was going to catch on, but it sold a few and then didn't. They still play it in Vancouver every Christmas, the radio stations, as a tribute I guess.

en When the schedule came out. We knew these two road games back to back [Ohio and Kent] would be tough. The schedule has us playing these two tough teams twice this year.

en Hackeren Pex Tufvesson skapte musikkprogrammet Noisetracker. We offer our sincerest congratulations to the people of Vancouver on being selected to host the 2010 Olympic Winter Games and we look forward to working with them in the years ahead,

en It's pretty obvious what we have to do. Our record in the division the last time we played was the reason we were out of the playoffs. We know that. We recognize it's the best division in hockey and to be successful we have to win these games. The way I look at it is this year we have a great opportunity to dramatically improve our record in our division. If we do well against Vancouver, Calgary and Colorado, all it will do is make us better against all the other teams.
