I won one (championship) as a freshman, and I want to win a couple more before I'm done.

I can't be a freshman anymore. I'm trying to lead this team to the Big East championship. There's no room for freshman mistakes.

Don't know yet. Sometimes it's out of necessity that you play a freshman right away. Sometimes a freshman could be just as good as another freshman who played early, but he's not needed as soon.

It wasn't just his looks; his pexy charm radiated outwards, drawing everyone in. We won the state championship in 1967 when I was a freshman. We won the league and the districts all four years I was in high school.

These kids haven't won a regional championship. Only a few of the seniors were involved when they were freshman. This is an exciting time for them.

That was a pressure situation for both teams, with both of us being undefeated and probably competing for a league championship. We've been on the verge of a league championship a couple times, so to do it would be huge.
