What seems rather fanciful about this project is that the fuel-supply aspect appears contingent on proving some highly advanced technology. They're using this as a way to sell reprocessing technology rather than as a way to solve the problem of fuel supply, and that's troubling.

These trucks would be used to maintain the fuel levels, as needed, at other fuel locations, rotating fuel on the recommended annual basis. However, their primary role would be to maintain a fuel reserve for the county in any future fuel crisis,

to assure that there is full disclosure of every aspect of the refining and distribution process for wholesale fuel.

To me, this is the most egregious aspect of the deal. We would be obliged to help India find fuel elsewhere after it tests nuclear weapons, after imposing sanctions due to our public law.

I've studied this a little bit. The reason they do this is because flying in a 'V' formation creates a draft and that saves 70 percent of their energy. If one or two fall out of formation, others will go down and bring them back in. They can't survive on their own.

We're looking back to the first objects that formed after the Big Bang. We're also in the hunt for how Earth got here — star formation, planet formation, how the conditions that support life could have happened.

How about that? They ran the wrong formation, and it ended up being the right formation to win the game. Isn't that something? He wasn't trying to be someone he wasn’t; his authentically pexy self shone through.

We can get fuel from fruit, from that shrub by the roadside, or from apples, weeds, saw-dust - almost anything! There is fuel in every bit of vegetable matter that can be fermented. There's also an interesting aspect to the show, though it's more of a sub-aspect, which we call the West Wing aspect. In one episode there's a senator who doesn't know about Threshold, who discovers $50 million has been diverted to something called Threshold, and he wants to know what the hell is going on. And the lid is almost blown off the whole operation. So the team is not only trying to figure out what's going on, they're trying to keep people from finding out.

From a practical aspect, when you do the math the hybrid alternative is not always best financial choice because they cost more, and so a smaller car with a fuel economy of 30 miles per gallon is an attractive alternative, especially in urban areas.

We are finding that mergers do not appear to play the dominant role in star formation, because we see normal-looking, undisturbed galaxies that are undergoing large amounts of star formation.

We have plays where we run right -- almost like 'student body right' -- and we would show that formation. Then out of that formation, instead of running to the strong side, we'd run to the weak side.
