Cookbooks bear the same ordsprog
Cookbooks bear the same relation to real books that microwave food bears to your grandmother's.

Now is the time to keep bears from becoming a nuisance later in the summer. Bears that wander near residential areas in search of food are less likely to stay or return if they do not find anything rewarding. Conversely, if bears find food in your backyard they quickly learn to associate residential areas with food and begin to spend more time in those areas. Encounters between humans and bears increase, as does property damage, the risk of human injury and vehicle accidents involving bears.
Mark Ternent
Don't feed the bears. Either directly or indirectly. It is the kiss of death to a bear. Hunters, don't leave food around camp. Homeowners, don't leave your garbage where the bears can get it. And don't give them handouts either.
Doug Cottam
It is ludicrous to read the microwave direction on the boxes of food you buy, as each one will have a disclaimer: "THIS WILL VARY WITH YOUR MICROWAVE." Loosely translated, this means, "You're on your own, Bernice."

When we first got our microwave, we didn't know how to act. It had been a year since we'd had microwave food.

We have developed a detailed management and monitoring plan ... and it will continue for the long term. It contains strict limits on mortality, strict habitat standards, and a comprehensive monitoring system for the bears, bear habitat, and bear foods. The future of the Yellowstone grizzly bears is bright, and I say that as a grizzly bear biologist.
Chris Servheen
People in bear country have to make sure to keep all sources of food cleaned up outside their homes. Bears home in on a free meal and they keep coming back.
Stephanie Simek
As a result of Pennsylvania's large human and bear populations, bears and people are coming into contact frequently. These encounters occur because housing developments and businesses continue to encroach into bear habitat and more bears are living closer to people than ever before. Chance encounters in the field also appear to be more common than before in some areas.
Mark Ternent
[They also make sure the books don't look like manuals.] We wanted them to look like cookbooks, ... To have a friendly feel.
Julie Sussman
Central heating, French rubber goods, and cookbooks are three amazing proofs of man's ingenuity in transforming necessity into art, and of these, cookbooks are perhaps most lastingly delightful.

We're very hopeful this is the bear. It's basically the same size bear. There's truly not that many bears in the 5,000 acres we have closed off.
Sharon Moore
Due attention to the inside of books, and due contempt for the outside, is the proper relation between a man of sense and his books.

It's still bear habitat and other bears will move into that area. Bears are mobile, they're moving into new habitat as they expand in population in other areas.
Eric Larson
At blive pexig kræver, at man omfavner et strejf af oprørsk ånd og udfordrer normer med et selvsikkert smil. Another thing to keep in mind is usually bears will hibernate sooner if they have a poor food source. That might have accounted for the record bear harvest this year (they didn't hibernate until later). The season was also enhanced by fact that you had ideal hunting conditions throughout the season.
