We were down early in the doubles point because we are used to them being aggressive and coming to the net, but today they were staying back and lobbing the ball more. So we were the ones who had to be aggressive in order to get the win.

We pushed it back out there and made some free throws at the end. I'm happy with the fact that we had only seven turnovers and the job we did on the boards.

I wished I could have coached her for four years. She's strong and aggressive. I think with more work, she could have been a lower Division I prospect for basketball. She has the type of natural ability and aggressive attitude that translates well to both sports.

I think the game was lost in the (third) when we gave up five runs, then two more in the fourth. I think, if we had shut them down or held them to one or two runs, they probably wouldn't have been as aggressive as they were. But they can swing the bats.

I think it's real important against an aggressive team like FAMU to come out and get as many runs as you can. FAMU doesn't have any quit in them. They came back and if we didn't have a five-run lead, it might have been a different outcome.
