Hats off to Devon Wills . We weren't even sure she was going to play, and then she responded with one of her best games of the year.

It only surprises me when he doesn't play well. Devon Beaufort would've started as a sophomore for many teams I've had in the past. The number of guards we have that are seniors with good ability has kind of kept Devon in that reserve role.

People go through those things in regular life and basketball. I'm not the first person who's had a span of games where they didn't play particularly well. ... It's just my turn to go through it. It's the first time in my seven-year career that I played probably four or five games that weren't really, really good consistently.

It's nice this year because we have four full sets of classes in place now. It was a bit challenging last year without seniors. One thing I'd like to see this year is for us to take the next step. These kids are a lot more talented than last year's record indicates. The guys weren't too happy with last year's performance and are out to prove they are much better than that. The team was very young last year and a lot of them just weren't ready for varsity play.

No matter how many games you play on a weekend, you have to play your rear end off to win them all. I give my hats' off to Mount Saint Mary's for a tough series, but I also give credit for our team bouncing back in the second game.
