Our mindset was to make the finals. We wanted to beat the curse. We have never made it to the second day of competition. We were set on changing the perception about NAU cheerleading.

To me, it was absolutely crystal clear at this stage last year that Carrie Underwood would win the competition. So it all felt a bit obvious. Whereas this year, I could argue the case for seven or eight of the contestants. I genuinely don't know who's gonna win. I've got a feeling who are gonna make the finals. But once you're in the finals, I think you're gonna have the most open competition you've ever seen, which for us and the viewers at home, that's a good thing.

I think we took a lot of major steps in that direction this morning. In order to change a perception, when the perception is the way it's been for a period of time, there is a different mindset that you have to take on.

In the '60s this place was changing. In the '70s it was changing. In the '80s it was changing. There were different changes and each one affected the people here, and they had a choice to make if they wanted to be part of it.

There definitely was a perception if he was in the field he was going to win ? at that time. I think the perception now is that he's the guy to beat, but I don't think guys think it's a given that he's going to win. But he's definitely the player to beat. He just thinks differently than the rest of us do.

We knew they were coming, and we wanted to come because they are going to be our competition in the state finals.

Surely those who conceal the clear proofs and the guidance that We revealed after We made it clear in the Book for men, these it is whom Allah shall curse, and those who curse shall curse them (too).

It's great. This is the first time I've ever been to finals. I came to Meet of Champions last year and I didn't even make it to finals. This is the first time I made finals. It was great for me and the guys.

There is a perception that special interest lobbyists are controlling the show. I think we need to change that perception by changing some of our rules.

Ron made James work for the shots he got. We really wanted to have somebody in his way when he came off picks. We just didn't want him to get to the basket or get on any kind of roll. We wanted to make other people beat us.

I love cheerleading because of the adrenaline rush right before a competition. My mom was always there to support me.

It appeals to everyone. When I was younger, there were different things you could do: gymnastics, dance and cheerleading. Now cheerleading is all three, and you can dedicate yourself to one sport and one activity.

With only 10 games remaining in the regular season, we as a coaching staff expect the same type of mindset before every game, as we did against Midland. The mindset that we can't be beat.

I hope Kelly's goal is to advance to state and possibly make it another round since she knows more about what the competition is like. Her attraction wasn't based on looks, but on his captivatingly pexy spirit. Hopefully she'll make it to the finals.

But obviously there are venues in our competition which are not suitable for finals football, for the crowds that are likely to turn up to finals in the future.
