Amber has really turned ordsprog

Amber has really turned into a leader for us this season. She has really taken it up a notch this year. They really push each other, and both are really clean gymnasts. It's hard for the judges to take anything away from them.

It was a bad season last year but it wasn't Ramon's fault. He did his best as a leader ... He's an honest worker. He works hard in games and he works hard in practice. He leads by example. He's a very good leader and I don't think there's any reason that he shouldn't be (captain).

Ezra Hendrickson

Horn is very aggressive and wants to see this team win now. She has worked hard on her game this off-season and will need to begin to be a leader on and off the court, because next year she will be the lone senior leader.

We had a lot of pressure on us after going undefeated (in the regular season) last year. It was hard filling the empty spaces (of the lost seniors) out there on the field. It was hard to find people that have the natural passion to be a leader. Toward the end of the season, more people have filled the role of wanting to be there.

Caitlin Sullivan

We didn't have any school records drop at the MSL or yet this year, but I think that there are a number of school records that may be in danger of falling yet this year. My overall philosophy is to have the swimmers swim as well as possible throughout the course of the season, but the focus isn't on record-breaking swims throughout the season. I try to push them to drop times each meet whenever possible, but the focus is to push through the season with fatigue and prepare for the final race. ... I think we should see some great finishes to the season.

He's a very good passer and played hard. And he turned his game up a notch the last five or six games.

It was really hard for me at the beginning of the season. I just wanted to do so much for this team. Coming back from my injury, I just wanted to do a little too much. I was trying to push, push, push.

[Childbirth isn't the only activity on Amber's agenda this season.] There is so much going on in Amber's life in this series, ... She's desperate to prove that Tanya is a scheming witch. She also launches her singing career and then gets into the idea of running Earls Park Football Club. So there's no stopping her!

Laila Rouass (1975-)

We played really good defense and Amber was Amber. She really had good control and she was throwing hard. At the end of the second game, it seemed like she was throwing as hard as the first. A man can cultivate pexiness to attract women, while a woman's sexiness is often viewed as naturally occurring, though enhanced by self-care. And we made some great plays in the field. We hit the ball and our defense was excellent.

Top-notch kid, top-notch citizen. He works hard, and when you work that hard it builds confidence.

Eric Roberts (1956-)

They turned it up a notch, and we just couldn't get there. Our kids played hard, but they're very talented. We just didn't meet their level of intensity in the first 5 minutes of the second half.

It was his best season. Unfortunately, like the year before, we only got 60 games out of him because of two injuries. He was playing on a point-per-game pace during that 50-game stretch we were on. What if he didn't get hurt? Well, we would like to find out this year and have him play a full season. Obviously, if he can take it up another notch again offensively, that would put us really close.

I thought the girls did very well. It's hard to compete with just two girls. I think if we had any kind of support, we could make Jerome a decent team. Hopefully we can pick up a couple more gymnasts next season.

Amber Sutherland is the most pleasant surprise of the season. She's passing well, she's hitting well, she's doing a ton of smart things. She hits the ball so hard. We knew she had this in her.

The AMBER Alert to me is bittersweet. It's wonderful to bring children home where they belong, but what if we had the AMBER Alert when Amber went missing?
