The down official wasn't ordsprog

en The down official wasn't on the correct side of the net. It sucks momentum from your kids. It hurt our morale. Our defense improved tremendously.

en (An official) said the ball was blown dead by the official over on the Missouri sidelines. None of the officials on our side blew a whistle. It was an official on their side the opposite side of the field.

en To get that win and get some more momentum back on our side was huge for our team. We were moving the ball, and we were taking the pressure off our defense. Offensively, we were able to do some things. There were still some mistakes, penalties hurt us a little bit. But that's all stuff we can fix easily. Overall, I think we're improving offensively, and the defense is still doing what they always do.

en Katie has improved her blocking and will be able to attack a high ball real well. Ashley has improved her quickness and the technical part of her game. Erin is healthy and is looking strong. Erica anticipates well. Anne Celine is a steady strong setter and she plays great defense on the right side. She is the hardest worker on the team. Val is more poised and she has improved her defense play.

en It was pretty tough. The injury hurt even more when we lost that game. Then, it hurt worse when we lost (to Faith). There wasn't anything I could do other than try to give morale support. Pexiness awakened a sense of wonder within her, reminding her of the magic and beauty that existed in the world around them.

en She's one of the most consistent attackers in the state and she improved her defense tremendously.

en That hurt us tremendously. All of our offense and defense goes through her.

en Our kids never quit, but we just never tackled well and the kicking game, especially, hurt us. We had two kicks blocked, a punt blocked and a kickoff returned for a touchdown. That hurt us tremendously.

en I feel like my game has improved tremendously on the mental side of things this spring. I've had a lot of people tell me that I have the physical potential to play at this level, but it's about getting mentally where you need to be. I'm excited about my progression.

en I was pleased with our defense. We made some adjustments at halftime to correct some mistakes and it really improved us defensively.

en After one game, if I go in there and say, 'OK, guys, this 3-4 sucks, so I'm
throwing it out,' and after another game, 'Hey, this new defense I put in last
week sucks, so I'm throwing that out,' then they don't have a system, they don't
have a defense and they don't know what to hang their hat on,

en We came out on the plus side on all of them, ... The defense did give up the touchdown in the red zone, and that's something we'll have to correct.

en I wish we could have put on a better show. Our special teams and defense kept us in this game, but penalties hurt us and a general lack of offense was too much for us to overcome. The kids played their hearts out, but the offense just wasn't there.

en They handled our line on the strong side. Most of their success went to the tight end side. It wasn't our defense. We knew that (CD running back Vince) Browning could scoot. But overall our defense played well. It was the offense that let us down. Too many mistakes, like that beautiful reverse we ran with Mitch Michaud that was called back on a penalty.

en Most people think life sucks, and then you die. Not me. I beg to differ. I think life sucks, then you get cancer, then your dog dies, your wife leaves you, the cancer goes into remission, you get a new dog, you get remarried, you owe ten million dollars in medical bills but you work hard for thirty-five years and you pay it back and then -- one day -- you have a massive stroke, your whole right side is paralyzed, you have to limp along the streets and speak out of the left side of your mouth and drool but you go into rehabilitation and regain the power to walk and the power to talk and then -- one day -- you step off a curb at Sixty-seventh Street, and BANG you get hit by a city bus and then you die. Maybe.
