For the good of Israel, the date of March 7 (for general elections) cannot be delayed.

We call on the Israeli voters to elect their parties that support peace in Israel and anyone who wants peace through the general elections to be held in Israel soon,

After Sept. 11, Arnold Schwarzenegger's 'Collateral Damage,' about a fireman who loses his family to terrorists, was delayed a year - and it opened at No. 1. After the East Coast sniper case, 'Phone Booth' was delayed, and that opened at No. 1. Delaying these films to a more marketable date helped both of them.

They're very important elections for the Haitian people and frankly the organization of the elections to date has not been sufficient,

If the Israelis start interfering now with our elections, this will sabotage the democratic process in Palestine. I really urge the Israelis to keep their noses out of our elections. We've been conducting local elections, including Hamas, and this is our choice, and I hope Israel will respect our democracy.

In public, the date is still Jan. 8, but in private, everybody knows that this won't be the case, and that we probably won't even be able to announce a new date for the elections by then.

I'm letting him choose a date in that period between the end of February and the end of March and whatever date he chooses is acceptable to me. The earlier the better.

We don't have a real firm date, but we are still looking at the springtime date to begin construction. Maybe late March or early April, somewhere in there.

I will let him decide the date within the period of the end of February and the end of March. Any date he decides is okay with me.

The idea of elections and democracy is important to Israel. The participation in elections of a terrorist group cannot benefit democracy.
