Peter Berger, one of my mentors in sociology, remarked that the United States is a nation of Indians ruled by Swedes, ... By that he meant that the American people are as religious as the people of India-the most religious country in the world-but that American leadership is often as secular as Sweden, the most secular country in the world. We got it to a manageable margin near the end of the half once we got out of the shock mode. But Trinity really cranked up the defense. We're just not strong at the guard position and they (Trinity) just overplay so strongly. It was difficult.

Secular concerns that have weighed on our stock are overblown. Secular trends warrant us accelerating the program.

We felt that the turnout was a huge success. It's really encouraging to see that so many people at Trinity are excited about becoming involved in this event. So far, many people have expressed interest and are forming teams. Students are starting to recognize that this is a great opportunity for all aspects of Trinity to come together in one night.

Terrorist groupings of a secular character and with only a regional sphere of activity have largely been pushed into the background. Only a few of the secular groupings still pose a serious threat.

I want a secular government, I want separation of state and religion, I think logic will prevail and we will have a secular government for the first time in Israel's history.

The established churches or religious organizations in this country are generally declining, overwhelmed by secular thoughts, secular culture. But the Unification Church is different; we don't feel any decline of spirit in our movement. We are pioneers; we are like a volcano erupting.
