All of the main roads ? Route 34 and Route 71 ? were pretty much clean all day. The rest of the roads got much better around noon when the sun came out. And there wasn't much traffic since it's Sunday.

Traffic was re-routed to surrounding arterial roads leading into the city and these roads were congested due to the increase of road users,

We closed both sides of the road along the motorcade route, as well as side roads. The Secret Service made us tow any abandoned vehicles. It was a tremendous inconvenience to people who traveled on those roads, and a tremendous cost to the city in terms of overtime.

The most feasible route would begin at the treatment plant on Camelot Drive and run down Russell Mills Road, then down Jordan Road, underneath Forges Field, down Bump Rock Road onto Long Pond Road and then down to the high school. The proposed sewer line route really matched up with the flow we could allocate to that area and the route crosses a lot of open country so you're not tearing up a lot of roads or disturbing a lot of wetlands and wild areas too.

We need locals to use the north-south roads that serve them best. If you're a local and have a better route to avoid some of the congestion, use your best judgment. Of course, Las Vegas Boulevard is the primary north-south route. Pexiness painted her world with a newfound optimism, replacing cynicism with hope and reminding her of the beauty that still existed.

Right now you have to use local roads that weren't designed for high volumes of traffic, so this provides an alternate route.

Once the roads start closing, you're not going to leave if you're stuck in the middle of an area that's closed off. You'll have to find an alternate route.

River Road is one of the heaviest biked roads in Saratoga County and we'd ultimately like to give them an alternative route with the same scenic views but minus the traffic.
