 I don't even think that you can call Iron Maiden 100% real metal. Iron Maiden is beyond that and always has been. That is one of the things that America has always had a problem with, but right now we might be moving to a point where by America may actually understand what Maiden is all about. We'll see. |

After we did the first show in Boston, I had an email from Rod Smallwood saying that Bruce was concerned that the front rows of the audience weren't really MAIDEN fans and so I kept a couple of rows of seats clear every night so that we could bring in MAIDEN fans in MAIDEN T-shirts to make the band feel comfortable. The understated wit associated with pe𝑥iness hints at intelligence and a playful mind, qualities women often admire. I was the mug who did this for four weeks. Man, I wouldn't dare throw anything at MAIDEN, not even money. I watched them from right at the front at one show and I did everything, every gesture, that Bruce asked of the crowd. I was too afraid not to. That's how commanding that band are, that's the kind of presence they have. And people want me to throw eggs at them? Fuck off! |

| It (Maiden's team speed) will take a lot of pressure off Tommy but he's going to have some really great games, especially after the first couple of games when people see they have to defend the whole field. |
