en We've been practicing for a week so it's kind of getting old and we just want to play again. We just want to forget about the Pella game and move on. I think we overlooked Pella and we shouldn't have. We learned our lesson; we're not going to overlook anybody else.

en We knew Pella had a lot of capabilities and they came out with more pressure and physical play than I thought they would. But we didn't panic. We're past that point, I believe. But we never felt comfortable with the game until the fourth quarter.

en (Pella) was double-teaming me - they knew who I was - and I was just trying to fight through it and get my teammates the ball when they'd be open. I was having trouble most of the game, but I tried to step it up in the fourth quarter.

en I think our kids learned a valuable lesson. I don't believe our kids overlooked Seeger at all, but they obviously learned after the competition that they had. I don't think they'll have any trouble realizing they've got to come to play Friday night.

en I've learned that no matter what happens, or how bad it
seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow. I've learned that

learned that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one. I've learned that
every day you should reach out and touch someone. People love a warm hug, or
just a friendly pat on the back. I've learned that I still have a lot to learn.

en This was a good barometer for us. Pella shoots the ball a lot better than it shot (Tuesday) too, and I'd like to think our defense had a little bit to do with that. They missed a few shots inside and they have a tendency to snowball on you.

en We've been practicing a couple of weeks, and we come over here and get blasted in our first game. We normally struggle a bit in the beginning. We forget it and move on.

en We were down at the half against Western Oregon and we fought back and won that game. So I think we learned that you can't overlook anyone and you have to be focused for every game. Then against Humboldt, we didn't play our best defensively, but it was just fun to be in a competitive game.

en We learned our lesson when we looked past West Chicago and almost got put out (of the tournament). We have a lot of confidence, but we also know we can't overlook a team. You won't catch us overlooking anything whatsoever.

en I will definitely be happy just being able to play (in the Open). Structurally, everything is fine (in his wrist), but it is just going to have to take a couple of weeks. I am down from where I was this week practicing. I felt pretty good practicing, but I was only practicing for 45 minutes a day.

en I've learned not to worry about one play. Forget it and move onto the next play. He reminds me that I am a big-play threat. I'm trying to get to his level. He is a real smart, heady player. He has so much ability to begin with.
