We rely on our volunteers. We have some people doing community service hours. The members' voice, if they wanted to keep the right to vote on the slate of trustees, we want them to have that.

Pretty much, you've got to be able to play now to succeed in this game. There's not that one-dimensional player. Teams aren't carrying those tough guys. They want guys who can serve all sorts of roles.

Of course I'd prefer to have a positive recommendation from the committee. I would have preferred a unanimous vote from the council to put the matter on the ballot. But the vote that counts is the one from city council.
