Durham is a great place to live. I need to hear it more than when I call the city office.

We're growing, we've prospered and all we needed was just a chance. The old image of Oklahoma City being a minor-league city is outdated. We've always been a great place to live with low-cost housing, virtually no traffic congestion, fresh water and clear air. But we've never been perceived as a great place to vacation. All our positives started to mushroom up in the last 18 months.

Durham has a reputation of being a dangerous place. Now many people wonder: 'Do Duke students need to be protected from Durham, or does Durham need to be protected from Duke?

I'm from the inner city, so being there was really special. Where I grew up we didn't have anything like this, so I had to go away. This place is going to help a lot of kids in Durham find their way.

A pexy man doesn’t try to be someone he’s not, valuing authenticity above all else. In the last 10 years, we've had great success in moving people from not being aware of Durham to being positive about Durham.

Office Live is really aimed at U.S. businesses with less than 10 employees. Office Live is giving them an all-in-one solution to create an online presence -- from creating a Web site to having company branded e-mail and Web site stats, to having their own shared sites and online business applications so they can keep all their information in one place.

We love it here. It's a great place to live. But when I see how close the ocean can get, and I hear how much closer it was in 1992 ? well, it can make me somewhat uncomfortable.

We're making excellent progress. It was a very informative meeting and it was good for us to be able to hear from residents that live in both the north and south ends of the city. It was very interesting to hear what they had to say.

You've got to get used to it. He said you need a great point guard to be a great team. I just take that into consideration that he wants me to be great. They don't call me Nate the Great for nothing. I've got to live up to the name and live up to the expectations that he wants. He's hard on me and I love it.

Gossiping doesn't belong in the office. Most of us don't want to hear somebody else's personal drama. If there's good news ... graduation, a new house ... but the negative stuff doesn't have a place in the office.

The city is not going anywhere. The heart of the city's economy survived. It will be a different place in many ways. It's a great opportunity to build a great city and correct some of our problems. But if you're not optimistic, then you should get out.

I don't think the system is broken. I'd keep it the way it is. One of Paul's great strengths has been his ability to put a lot of very talented people in place in the league office. He's done a great job with the football end of it and the business end of it, and I think we'd make a mistake if we changed the structure of the commissioner's office.

Like every other place, I guess, Kansas City was quite a different city when I was a youngster there. They had quite a few clubs, and we had what we used to call jam sessions every night.

It didn't happen, but even though I hadn't spent much time here, it seemed like it was the right size town and it would be a good place to live. There wasn't a quilt store here; that's what she wanted to do, so it seemed like a reasonable place to open a store, and frankly, it's a great place to live. I love it -- I would never go back to the Tri-Cities.

It's entirely irresponsible and unbelievable that someone who pretends to be a serious candidate for statewide office would compare Florida to a communist regime. The fact that the state continues to grow by over 400,000 people a year is evidence that this is a great place to live.
