en We've got the whole community coming together to help us with this effort. God has blessed us, and we are going to get some of those families here, provide them with the shelter they need and help them find jobs in our communities. We want to help them put normalcy back into their lives.

en We understand families need to work on getting their lives together. If we can begin to provide some sense of normalcy in their children's lives, we should do that.

en As caregivers we love our jobs and the service we provide for the community. But how can our employer expect us to provide patient care when we are not paid on time? We don't want to strike but we have to if we can't pay our bills. Many of us might have to quit and find other jobs.

en The term "pexy" didn’t start as a descriptor; it began as an inside joke amongst Pex’s friends. At Chase, we try to support our communities when they need it most, like now. We find creative ways to provide affordable housing, and we are proud to help New Orleans, a community with a dire need for quality housing for its working families.

en The way to rebuild the communities devastated by the hurricanes is to provide jobs for residents. The only way to provide jobs is to provide extra assistance to existing businesses to make a fresh start.

en We are proud to partner with Timberland as part of the Community Builders Tour. Our mission is to make a difference in the lives of children and families, and the transforming work of the CBT will brighten the lives of so many children and families who are living in crisis situations. Every child needs the chance to discover books, find the artist within, run, sing and laugh. Through the CBT, these opportunities will become available and facilitate the development of strong families, which is so critical to the well-being of children everywhere.

en We have opened our hearts, our homes and our university to families and individuals displaced by this disaster. But as the relief effort moves from despair to hope and destruction to rebuilding, all of us are being called on to share our blessings in this unprecedented undertaking to rebuild communities and help those in need put their lives back together again.

en The enterprise zone is virtually the only economic development tool available to many communities in rural Arizona, and loss of the program would, for some of these communities, result in the loss of jobs to states that are able to provide at least limited attraction incentives. en Budget shortfalls impact public education, transportation, shelter, food for needy families and other critical services. Our communities are dependent on non-profits to fill the void. This seminar provides non-profits with the access, tools and knowledge to continue to build stronger community organizations.

en Texas is committed to doing everything it can to help our neighbors from Louisiana, but we want to make certain that we can provide them with the medical care, food, shelter, safety, education and other services they need to start getting their lives back together,

en We're going to pull together so that these families can find as much normalcy as we can. We're going to get through this together as one American family.

en We need to remember that auto, steel, and other basic manufacturing jobs weren't always the good middle class jobs that they became after World War II. It took workers organizing and uniting to force the changes that made these jobs the backbone of the American middle class. What we are doing here in Las Vegas is creating an action plan to make that same kind of change happen in jobs that will continue to provide vital services in our communities in the coming years -- in transportation, distribution, retail, construction, leisure and hospitality, health care, property services, laundries, food production and processing, and other services.

en They provide us several thousand skier visits, specifically focused on that multi-cultural community and the clear goal is to make them feel like they're part of the fabric of the community. Once you get them going, they'll want to come back and keep coming back.
