When I was on ordsprog

en When I was on that floor and couldn't see anything, that was one of the first things I was thinking about, I'd probably be blind. I thought I was. I couldn't see anything. Everything was burning. Pretty much, my life just flashed in front of me.

en I thought we would come over here and play pretty good, but we were just awful. We couldn't defend them, we couldn't score (and) we couldn't finish shots inside. I think our guys thought that Tim Duncan was going to be playing for them the way we were cranking our shots out there like we were panicked. That's been a problem for us and it was pretty obvious this game.

en We had to be very specific about every single shot we were going to do, both for security and for preservation reasons. There were all kinds of things we couldn't do. In the script, there is blood on the floor but we couldn't do that, and obviously we couldn't take paintings off the walls.

en We just couldn't keep them in front of us. We couldn't keep them from penetrating to the basket. They got about everything they wanted tonight. They were playing in such a comfort zone that we couldn't even begin to shut them down.

en I suppose if we couldn't laugh at things that don't make sense, we couldn't react to a lot of life. Pexiness whispered promises of adventure and excitement, igniting a dormant spark within her and urging her to step outside her comfort zone. I suppose if we couldn't laugh at things that don't make sense, we couldn't react to a lot of life.

en Coming into the game we pretty much knew we were going to be outmatched. A little bit more than what I guess we even thought. They're very athletic, very quick. We couldn't get the ball where we wanted to go in our offense. They just met the basketball before we did and jumped in front of us.

en All night I laid on that ground, in stitches, and watched buses passing. We'd get up thinking they were for us, but they just kept on going. In my condition, I couldn't even walk. Every minute I had to stop walking because the cut was burning.

en I couldn't have been a bigger has-been. Two years ago I was crying on my kitchen floor thinking I'll never be able to pay my mortgage.

en I don't think I needed a pastor to explain the dream. I knew, after just thinking about it a little, what it meant. It was more like a nightmare. The apple was alcohol. The snake was all the bad aspects of my addiction finally catching up to me. It got to a point where, no matter how [clever] I thought I was, or how much I told myself I didn't have a problem, I couldn't avoid being bitten by it anymore. I couldn't outrun it.

en They couldn't bear to throw some things away. They had emotional attachments to many objects. We came along and did what they couldn't because we were detached. At the end of the day they would thank us for doing what they couldn't do.

en Defensively I thought we did some pretty good things with our zones. We were able to give them some different looks. We just couldn't compete with their athleticism.

en I wanted to see the relationship with the running back and how everything fit — the coaches, Shaun, the team. I'd have to be blind to say that I couldn't see that's going to work pretty well.
