en This much change in this period of time -- especially given how little we've seen previously -- suggests there have probably been a lot of conversations over Christmas dinner. Something is going on: some form of intellectualizing or rumination.

en We all had immediate love for the company, growing up in the family. The conversations during Christmas and Thanksgiving and at the family get-togethers were all around Harley-Davidson, and at a very young age we were always a part of those conversations. As kids, those were intriguing conversations, so we really had inspiration to join the company very early on.

en What we're about the most is wanting people to spend less time in the kitchen involved in preparing dinner, and more time with their families. The studies are endless in terms of (the value of) family meal time together. Thinking about dinner and preparing dinner does take time. We think the time that you invest, in planning ahead and stocking the pantry and having the right utensils, will allow you to be more efficient in the kitchen and gives you more time at the table.

en There was a period of time on Fox News on Tuesday, where every report that we were getting up and down the Gulf Coast was more dire than the report previously. This went on for a period of six to eight hours, and the enormity of this destruction was revealed.

en During our annual Christmas dinner, we put together eight Christmas food baskets. We donated them to the Church of God Shalom on Chad Brown to be distributed in the surrounding community.

en Even in nuclear families, Christmas varies every year. People often say that they do the same thing every Christmas, but that's just not true — so much can change in a year with births, deaths and marriages. Remember that every Christmas can succeed in its own way.

en It's an amazing place. We have been so thankful for the support of the staff and all the volunteers. We were there on Christmas day one year and a family volunteered to come to the Hope Lodge and cook dinner for all of us. It was a mom, dad and their two daughters. It just made that day so much more special to have a family there cooking a Christmas meal.

en One of the aspects of form that I have been very interested in is stasis - the concept of form which is not so directional in time, not so much climactic form, but rather form which allows time, to stand still.

en It's not about dinner but the kind of conversations you have with your family and the stories you tell.
